01The main difference is the cushion

AirFit F20 uses a silicone InfinitySeal cushion. AirTouch F20 uses UltraSoft memory foam. They should not be described as the same mask with different packaging.

02Cleaning is not interchangeable

A silicone cushion and a memory foam cushion need different care. Do not soak the AirTouch memory foam cushion or use the silicone cleaning routine on it. Follow the instructions for the exact component.

03Confirm the replacement part

When ordering a replacement, give the full mask name and cushion size. Ask whether the quote is for a complete mask, one cushion or a multi-cushion pack. Product photographs sometimes show parts that are not included in the quoted offer.

04Choose with fitting support

Comfort is individual. Use the official sizing guide and discuss the fit with your equipment team. Both families may use magnetic clips; review current manufacturer contraindications before use.

05Compare the care routine before the cushion feel

The best comparison includes the routine you can maintain at home. Ask the supplier to show the care instructions for the exact silicone or foam cushion and explain which parts are washable. Keep the instructions with the model label so a caregiver does not accidentally use one routine for every component. If your priority is a softer feel, discuss that during fitting, but also check replacement availability and the ongoing cost of the cushion you are considering.

  • Confirm whether the quote is for a complete mask or cushion only.
  • Record the cushion size and exact product name.
  • Ask for current replacement and care guidance for that material.

06Use the fitting review to answer specific questions

Describe where you notice pressure, movement or difficulty handling the mask. Have the equipment team review the assembled frame, headgear and cushion rather than looking only at a product photograph. Do not infer that a different material will solve every leak. If you are moving between F20 components, confirm compatibility and the current magnetic-clip safety guidance for the exact combination before ordering. A clear parts list is more useful than a general promise of extra comfort.
