About the P2

The OxyMed P2 provides pulse-dose oxygen in a portable unit weighing 1.98 kg with a single battery. It has five pulse settings and a 2.8-inch display. The supplied brochure lists up to 5 hours on a single battery at setting 1, or up to 10 hours with the optional double battery. Runtime decreases at higher settings. Pulse settings are not equivalent to continuous-flow litres per minute; confirm suitability and settings with your prescribing clinician.

Use the oxygen delivery type and flow prescribed by your clinician. A pulse setting is not a flow rate in litres per minute. Ask about power arrangements, accessories and a backup plan before choosing equipment.

Does setting 5 mean 5 litres per minute?

No. The P2 uses pulse-dose settings 1–5. These are not continuous-flow litres per minute. Ask your clinician to confirm the prescribed delivery mode and the suitable setting.

How long does the OxyMed P2 battery last?

The supplied brochure lists up to 5 hours at setting 1 and 1 hour 40 minutes at setting 5 with a single battery. The optional double battery is listed at up to 10 hours at setting 1. Actual runtime depends on usage and battery condition.

What comes with the P2?

The brochure lists the unit, AC adapter, car charger, nasal cannula, single battery, sling bag, screwdriver, filters and user manual. Confirm the package in your quotation. The double battery and external fast charger cost extra.

Can I take the P2 on a flight?
